Chen Guangcheng the Chinese activist who left the US embassy yesterday not wants to leave China for the US. Chen claims that he fears for the lives of himself and his family and hopes to leave with Secretary Clinton who is in China for high profile talks with China about issues unrelated to Chen.  Chen escaped the home were he was being held under house arrest, and sought help at the US embassy. It was reported that he left the US embassy yesterday at his own free will but now conflicting stories are emerging. US diplomats are currently working with Chen to determine if there is anyway to help, however the Chinese government is demanding an apology for what they deem an interference with their internal affairs. It is still unclear what the United States will do or if anything will be done.
