Colorado Personhood Bill Lacks Signatures

The Daily Beast - 08/30/2012

State officials in Colorado have stated that a pro-life group hoping to get a personhood amendment passed is lacking the necessary number of signatures to make it onto the ballot this fall. Many of these pro-life activists however disagree, while the group is about 4,000 signatures short of reaching the 86,105 necessary number to be placed on the ballot the pro-life group claims that some 6,000 signatures remain unaccounted. Now the group has hired a lawyer and have within 30 days to file a petition challenging the state on the loss of the alleged signatures.
