The Republican National Convention has already run into some hiccups resulting from weather issues related to Hurricane Isaac. Although Isaac will avoid the Tampa area the now expected level 1 Hurricane is expected to hit New Orleans on the anniversary of Katrina which could threaten coverage of the Republican National Convention. Although events on the first day of the RNC were postponed due to weather concerns top GOP officials are confident that the rest of the convention will continue as scheduled.
