It was Mitt Romney's night to shine, speaking at the closing of the Republican National Convention and formally accepting the nomination for presidency many were anticipating seeing a side of Romney we have yet to see. Once the speech was completed though many felt that his performance was just middle of the road. His speech lacked clear direction and was often times choppy, while he highlighted the differences between himself and Obama he failed to connect to the electorate on a personal level and also failed to make a moving speech that would compel independent voters to vote for him.
