Ron Paul the prominent Texas congressman who officially suspended his campaign in May will not be speaking at the Republican National Convention. Paul's devout following of right leaning libertarians are disappointed in the announcement but it came after certain compromises couldn't be met between the Romney campaign and Ron Paul. The agreement that had to be met to allow Paul to speak included giving a speech written by a member of the Romney campaign and that he fully endorses Mitt Romney. Paul stated that he could not agree to those terms as it would undermine his entire body of work. He also stated that he does not fully endorse Romney for President.
