The EPA has stated that it wants stricter enforcement concerning "soot" pollution. These new air quality standards aim to reduce soot pollution gained approval from a multitude of groups including environmential, public health advoctaes, and American centers for lung cancer, heart disease, and asthma. Republicans claim new restrictions will hurt economic growth.
