USA Today/Gallup poll conducted on Sept. 18 among 885 registered voters finds Independent Voters had a more negative than positive immediate reaction to Romney's comments. 29% of Independent Voters say; Romney’s comments make them less likely to vote for him, 19% say the remarks make them more likely to vote for him, and 53% say the comments won't make any difference.
