As people continue to ask Mitt Romney to be more transparent with his tax returns the Obama campaign has now offered up a deal. This offer was brought up in a letter sent to Romney's campaign manager Matt Rhoades. In the letter they address Romney's apparent fear that if asked for one thing we will continue to ask for more and more years tax returns, so they promised to limit the number to 5 years. The Romney campaign has declined the offer and continues with their refusal to release more tax returns. Romney yesterday attempted to address the issue in South Carolina, when he stated that he "checked" his tax returns last night and he never paid less that 13%. He however did not disclose the tax returns that these numbers came from.
