RNC Viewership Down From 2008

Pew Research - 09/05/2012

According to a Pew Research survey the number of Americans paying attention to the Republican National Convention dropped significantly from the 2008 election. From their findings only 37% of Americans said they watched all or quite a bit of the RNC this is a drop from 2008 when 58% said they watched all or some of the RNC. Another blow, is that Romney speech was seen as less of a highlight than Clint Eastwood's baffling empty chair speech that was named the most "stand out" event of the convention.
