Tommy Thompson the former Governor of Wisconsin has secured his spot for the November elections by winning last nights Republican primary. Thompson will now face off with Democrat Tammy Baldwin in the general election. Several other closely watched primaries also occurred last night including a very tight race in Florida where incumbent Cliff Stearns was unseated by Ted Yoho, the race came down to less than 800 votes.
